The event will be held at the Zimbabwe German Society, with organisers encouraging guests to dress in Afrocentric wear.

Expect a mix of African music styles, from traditional drums to modern Afrobeats, alongside food vendors and craft stalls.

The festival creates an inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere with cultural showcases, live performances, and a vibrant open-air feel.

The festival travels to Bulawayo a week later, on December 13, transforming King’s Kraal into a colourful hub of African pride.

ROOTS returns to Maize & Mingle in Harare for its final Afro-house gathering of the year.

Known for its deep, soulful house sessions and lush garden setting, this party attracts a mature crowd of music lovers seeking a rhythmic escape.

DJs will curate an evening of Pan-African electronic beats under the stars, with drinks and food served in a relaxed yet stylish environment.

Top entertainers including Nitefreak, Samuel Cosmic, Jay, Bambam Madame and Bhana, to name a few, are set to perform.

As the norm, the event has dress codes, and this time around, patrons are expected to be wearing all shades of brown with a touch of champagne, off-white or khaki and a doek or a straw hat.

The fete, which will be held at Thornpark Polo Club on December 18, is one of the most anticipated gigs this festive season.

Expect a blend of Afrobeats, Zimdancehall, amapiano, and R&B from a diverse lineup of local and international artists.

The organisers have also put together a strong lineup featuring Darkoo, Jazzwrld, Thukuthela, DJ Maphorisa, Saintfloew, Nisha Ts, Jnr Spragga, Voltz JT, Knosazana Daughter and Mas Musiq, among others.

Unplugged needs no introduction as it makes its return to First Capital Bank Sports Club on 21 December.

The event will be headlined by Liquideep, which recently got back together to start performing again after 11 years.

They will be joined on stage by the likes of Saintfloew, Sane Wav, Melyssa, Sylent Nqo, Delroy Shewe, and DJ SAIIREN.

The family-friendly setup includes picnic areas, food and drink vendors, and a cooler-box-friendly policy. General entry starts at $15, with VIP packages available.

Carpe Diem has grown to be one of the biggest entertainment brands in the country, attracting thousands of fans every time it’s held.

This is the first time it is being held during the Christmas holidays, which will certainly make it a bit special.

It’s a must-attend for house heads seeking a summer-style sonic escape.
