NAMA 2024 Nominees Announced

The 23rd edition of the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) is set to honour Zimbabwe’s most outstanding creatives across various artistic disciplines.

Hosted by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), the prestigious awards recognize excellence in music, dance, theatre, literature, film, visual arts, and spoken word.

This year’s nominations were announced today and reflect the diversity and vibrancy of Zimbabwe’s creative sector, with seasoned and emerging artists competing for top honours.
