Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat next month with the Selekta Base BlowOut Festival set for November 3.
The event which is being dubbed the “Bragging Rights Edition” will be held at the Borrowdale Racecourse, with some of the region’s best drivers set to participate.
Burnouts have been a staple on the local entertainment scene for a while and the sport is growing in popularity every year.
Local drivers and stuntmen have also been honing their craft and with new players coming through the ranks, the competition is becoming stiff. This in turn means more excitement for those who attend these burnout events.
International heat at BlowOut Festival

To make things a bit more interesting, the Selekta Base BlowOut Festival has been roping in spinners from neighboring countries.
The upcoming edition will feature King Katra from South Africa and Muhamed Salim from Zambia who will battle it out with Zimbabwe’s finest spinners.
King Katra is regarded as one of the best in the business having already won some prestigious tournaments including the 2020 Red Bull Shay’ iMoto Championship.
There is already an ongoing battle on social media between Zimbabwean and Zambian car enthusiasts as to which country has been best cars and it will be interesting to see who will come out on top come November 3.
Top Musicians and DJ on Rotation

Just like previous editions, there is going to be loads of entertainment besides what will be happening in the burnout arena.
Top artists and DJs including Enzo Ishall, Bagga, Rax, Rawse and Springer will be taking turns to entertain the crowd.
These are seasoned artists who have proven time and time again that they know how to get a party started.
