International R&B icon Joe Thomas is set to headline a highly anticipated concert at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare on 12 August 2025.

In an interview with 263Culture event organiser Walter Wanyanya highlighted that the show aims to deliver more than just music as it is a carefully curated celebration of soul, love, and musical legacy.
“This concert is a celebration of timeless music and world-class live entertainment,” said Wanyanya.
“Joe Thomas’ voice and message still connect with people today, and we felt Zimbabwe deserves to experience a world-class R&B show that reminds us of the golden era while still feeling fresh and relevant.”

Gates will open at 16:00, ushering in a full evening of live performances.
While the American singer will headline the night, organisers have confirmed that Zimbabwean star ExQ will also be part of the lineup — with more local acts to be revealed in the coming weeks.
“We’re curating a lineup of Zimbabwean artists to showcase the best of our local talent. We believe in celebrating our homegrown musicians alongside international stars.”
The show promises a multi-generational experience for music lovers, tapping into Joe’s extensive discography that includes countless classics that continue to enjoy massive airplay across Zimbabwe and the continent.
Strong Ticket Sales Reflect Enduring Appeal
Despite being decades into his career, Joe’s popularity remains undiminished. According to organisers, ticket sales have been brisk, particularly for VIP access.

Early bird tickets are going for $50 for general entry and $150 for VIP for those who purchase before August 3. After the 3rd they will be $60 and $180 for general entry and VIP respectively.
