This weekend, Thornpark Polo Club will once again come alive with the NetOne 263 Culture Festival 2025 taking place on Saturday, October 18.
The fete is anticipated to be one of the biggest events of the year, based on the hype surrounding it.
It comes as no surprise that the gig has caused a major buzz on the streets, considering the massive lineup that organisers put together this year.
With Scopion Kings, Major League DJs, DJ Kent, De Mthuda, Ciza, A-Reece, Nisha Ts, Saint Floew and Wowrae to name a few set to perform, this was always going to be an attractive prospect for any music lover.
As the day draws near, the noise about the 263 Culture Festival has also been getting louder, with many people rushing to buy advance tickets before the prices go up.
263 Culture Festival 2025 Preparations

Speaking to 263Culture event organiser T Mula said preparations were at an advanced stage as they were now working on the final touches.
“The preparations have been going well, and right now we are just finalising things like flights and accommodation for the artists,” said T Mula.
“We are also working with our service providers to make sure that everything, from the stage to the sound, will be perfect on the day.”
He added that they were going to ensure every element of the event is smooth, as they seek to improve from previous editions.
“Festivals attract thousands of people who are coming from all walks of life, so obviously it’s not easy to satisfy everyone, but we will try our best to ensure that things like parking, security, toilets, bars and other services on the ground are functioning properly.”
Why Thornpark Polo Club?

263 Culture Festival has been growing every year, with the last edition showing its potential to scale up.
Having roped in some of the biggest artists in the region and the subsequent advance ticket sales, the organisers realised that their traditional venue might be too small for this year’s event.
“The event has been growing every year, and this time around, you should expect it to blow the roof.
“We have moved to Thornpark Polo Club because Belgravia Sports Club is now too small.
“We have outgrown the capacity of the place, which is why we are moving to a larger venue to ensure we have more space to create a memorable festival.”
Massive Lineup

Since its inception, 263 Culture Festival has always come up with a massive lineup of both international and local stars, and this year is no different.
Just the fact that the likes of DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Major League DJs, Ciza and DJ Kent will be sharing the same stage is a scary prospect on its own.
These are some of the biggest names in the business, who are known to finish the job every time they are on stage.
The organisers should be commended for striking a balance, with almost every urban genre represented.
Fans who like amapiano, deep house, hip hop and dancehall will all be eating well on the day.
“The lineup is packed with some heavyweights, as you have seen each year. We have made sure that our lineup is a no-brainer in terms of what it speaks. It speaks of a mighty festival.”
What to Expect at The 263 Culture Festival

Those who went to the first edition can confirm that the 263 Culture Festival had a false start, as it did not attract many people despite having a solid lineup.
One would have thought the organisers would just call it a day and abandon the concept, but they didn’t, and their gamble paid off in the end as last year’s edition was a success.
This time around, they are promising to create a memorable experience with the event poised to compete with major international festivals.
“I have been to many international festivals all over the world, where I was taking notes, so I can assure you that 263 Culture will have the same vibe as any other international festival out there.”
While October has been packed with many events, this is one not to be missed, as it promises to be an explosive fete.
