Harare is buzzing today with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small set to rock the Hippodrome tonight.
The duo, popularly known as the Scorpion Kings will land in the country later on in the day for what is going to be an epic gig.
The artists have been posting on their social media pages to reassure fans that they are definitely coming as they are some who were doubting that they will make it.
When it comes to hype, tickets sales clearly indicate that many people want to attend this event.
Too bad for those who held out on buying cheaper early bird tickets as they sold out with people now having to part with $40 for general entry. The $40 tickets were also selling fast with organisers highlighting that once those sellout, the price will rise again.
We passed through the venue and everything seemed to be set with some artists already doing their sound check.
For those who are not familiar with the Hippodrome, it is that new building that is opposite Braeside shops or next the Zuva Service Station opposite Hillside Shopping Centre.
Its a massive auditorium which can easily accommodate more than 5 000 people.
The major issue that might arise will be parking as there is not much of that to go around. It would be advisable to use Indrive or other alternative means of transport to avoid the hustle of finding parking space.
If you are an Amapiano fan, missing a DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small gig is something that should not even cross your mind.
