Castle Lager Braai Festival 2024: Everything You Need to Know
All roads lead to Old Hararians Sports Club this Saturday as the venue hosts the 2024 Castle Lager Braai Festival.
Known for its lively atmosphere, delicious food, and thrilling performances, this year’s event promises to be one of the biggest to date.
This is one of those events that does not have a specific target audience, but rather accommodates people from all walks of life and as usual, thousands of people are expected to attend.
As long as you love your beer, grilled meat and music this will be the place for you, with some of the biggest musicians locally and regionally set to perform.
Castle Lager Braai Festival 2024 Lineup
This year’s edition will showcase a mix of local and regional talent, headlined by Zimbabwe’s own “Dancehall King” Winky D, who is no stranger to the event having performed at previous editions already.
Joining him on stage are local rising stars Master H and Saintfloew, both of whom are rapidly gaining a following for their energetic live shows.
Not to mention the fact that the organisers have also roped in South African amapiano star Kamo Mphela.
Known for her powerful stage presence and dance moves (she is basically one of the best dancers on the amapiano scene), she is set to be one of the major highlights of the festival.
The artist has a strong catalogue with bangers that include “Dalie”, “Nkulunkulu”, “Ghost”, “Thula Thula”, “iPiano” and “Amanikini” to name a few.
Renowned DJs and MCs including Etherton B, DJ L Roy, DJ Irvine, and DJ Toxy Gen will keep the energy flowing throughout the day.
As mentioned earlier, the festival will be a haven for lovers of braai.
Attendees can indulge in fresh, locally sourced meat, expertly grilled, while enjoying ice-cold Castle Lager beers at affordable prices. In fact, a 1-litre Castle Lager Draught will be available for just $1.

Delta Corporation, the event’s primary sponsor, has made tickets available for purchase both online and at the gate.
Early bird tickets can be bought for US$15 at clicknpay.africa, while tickets will cost US$20 at the gate on the day of the event.
Gates will open at 10am, giving attendees plenty of time to soak in the festival’s offerings.
