The recently held  Selekta Base Blowout Festival Heroes Edition was a major success, with thousands of people attending the event.

However, there are many who skipped the extravaganza due to the rumors that events for August had been canceled.

Many burnout fans have been calling for the organisers to do another event and they have listened, with the next edition scheduled for September 8 at the Borrowdale Racecourse.

“We understand that many of you were unable to attend our recent event due to the rumors circulating during the SADC preparations in Zimbabwe,” reads a statement released by the organisers.

“Unfortunately, these unforeseen circumstances impacted travel plans for many of our valued attendees coming from all over country.

“In response, we have swiftly decided to host another Selekta Base BlowOut Festival on September 8th, 2024. To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join us, we are offering a special 50% discount on tickets until 1:00 PM on the day of the event. After this time, standard pricing will resume.

“We are excited to welcome you all for a day of fun and entertainment, free from any concerns. Let’s come together and make this festival one to remember.

“Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you there.”

The upcoming Selekta Base Blowout Festival promises to be massive as it will feature spinners from South Africa and Zambia who will be showing off their skills against the best in Zimbabwe.

On the music side of things, there will be top DJs on rotation with the likes of C Skillz, Klique, MC Gully, Madeherbelieve and Zulu being roped in.

The good part is that prices have been slashed by half as tickets will be going for $5 before 1pm while kids are getting in for free.

Cooler boxes are not attracting a corkage fee this time around.
