Olympus Lounge and Club Zeus Open This Weekend
Last weekend Harare’s club scene was basically dead, with most joints being closed as a tense mood hung in the air, thanks to the recently held harmonised elections.
This weekend however, the groove is back, with Olympus Lounge and Club Zeus announcing that they are open.
From tonight, these are the two joints that anyone looking to have a good time should consider checking out.
With a lineup that is stacked with top tier entertainers, this is one weekend that is bound to be full of electric vibes.
Fridays at Olympus Lounge are always exciting with the ‘Mean Girls’ concept having taken off in recent weeks. The session is hosted by female DJs and MCs including Naida, Eve, Miss Ily and Shaku Chante.
These girls really know how to throw it down behind the decks and tonight they are promising to keep the lounge nice and cosy.
Downstairs, Club Zeus will also be buzzing throughout the weekend with the likes of Arz, Ace Frvr, Butler, MC Tatts and Ziggy among the main attractions.
Tonight’s session is dubbed ‘Road to Fiesta’ and lucky patrons are set to win tickets for tomorrow’s Fiesta Fiesta which is being headlined by Vigro Deep.
In an interview with 263Culture, the management highlighted that they have had time to prop up the place a bit in preparation for the weekend.
“As you might have noticed, last weekend we were not open and that break gave us the opportunity to touch up the place and fix some of the things that needed to be sorted.
“We are urging our patrons to come through in their numbers as we have a few surprises lined up, especially tonight were some will get to win tickets for tomorrow’s Fiesta gig.”
