Holy Ten and Michael Magz Endorse ED and Zanu PF as Elections Draw Closer

As the election fever heats up in Zimbabwe, a number of celebrities and socialites have been throwing their weight behind the ruling party Zanu PF.

Holy Ten and his partner in crime Michael Magz recently took to social media to endorse President Emmerson Mnangagwa, highlighting some of his achievements.

“I am proud of my country Zimbabwe. Over the weekend we were in Beitbridge, we have seen the development that is being done at the border post. Totally out out of this world,” said Holy Ten.

“We have been in and out of the airport, things are changing. And I want to tell you that money has been availed under the drugs and substance abuse mitigation fund, so this is for the youths, this is the change.

“So, we want to thank the comrade himself President Emmerson Mnangwagwa, we are supporting you, we are with you the President of the people.”

In the video clip, Magz is wearing a custom brown jacket written “Zanu PF Huchi” in the back.

About a week ago, another top hip hop artist, Kikky Badass also went on social media to express her support for President Mnangagwa.

Some musicians and celebrities have even gone on the release songs encouraging Zimbabweans to vote for ED and the ruling party in the upcoming elections.

While there is a huge debate on social media over artists’ political choices, many have highlighted that in any democratic space, everyone has the right to support any political party they see fit.

Zimbabwe’s Harmonised Elections will take place on August 23, 2023.
