Vic Falls Carnival 2023: Africa’s favourite festival returns
Africa’s most exciting music and adventure festival, Vic Falls Carnival, returns for its 11th edition from April 28 to 30, 2023.
The carnival, which takes place in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the heart of Africa, offers fans from around the world adrenaline-pumping adventure activities during the day, followed by the Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage at the Elephant Hills Resort, where over 30 of Africa’s hottest music acts perform.
Line-up and Greener Initiatives
This year’s line-up features some of the biggest local and international hitmakers, including Black Motion, Jah Prayzah, Musa Keys, Oskido, LKG, Toss, Mdoovar, 9umba, Enzo Ishall, Anita Jaxson, Mac G & Sol, Top Cheri, Rimo, Mi Casa, Mafikizolo, Han-C, Khoisan, Tashinga, Nitefreak, Just Drev, DJ Liz, Nospa, Nkosiminator, Renolife, Andrea the Vocalist, Doll Ya Mama, and Mtkayntwana (MC). More acts are yet to be announced.
For the first time, the Vic Falls Carnival is partnering with The Wild Africa Fund, an organization that aims to promote wildlife tourism and carbon offset as sources of conservation and sustainable development funding, and to raise awareness of poaching, habitat loss, and human-wildlife conflict.
This initiative aims to preserve Africa’s natural beauty and wildlife and the communities that rely on it.
Another greening partnership this year is the ‘We Are Victoria Falls’ initiative, formed under the direction of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry, which coordinates all events in the SADC region to be cognizant of the fact that they are playing in a wildlife space.
Vic Falls Carnival 2023 Format
The festival takes place over three days, with the following schedule:
Friday, April 28, 2023
- 3 pm – 7h30 pm: VIP Pure Africa Sunset Cruise & Shore Party @ Pure Africa featuring Black Motion. (VIP ticket holders only)
- 6 pm: Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage Gates open @ Elephant Hills Resort – Driving Range
- 7h30 pm – 2 am: Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage @ Elephant Hills Resort – Driving Range.
Saturday, April 29, 2023
- 12 – 6 pm: VIP Pool Party hosted by Boity (VIP ticket holders only). Theme: “White with a Touch of Peach” @ Elephant Hill Resort’s Pool. (VIP ticket holders only)
- 3 pm – 7.30 pm: VIP Pure Africa Sunset Cruise & Shore Party @ Pure Africa featuring Oskido. (VIP ticket holders only)
- 6 pm – 2 am: Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage @ Elephant Hills Resort – Driving Range.
Sunday, April 30, 2023

For the first time, the Vic Falls Carnival will be crossing the Zambezi to include Zambia in a series of special events at the Radisson Blu Mosi-Oa-Tunya, Livingstone Resort. The events are dubbed “Vic Falls Carnival presents – Destination: Livingstone”.
The festival is an extension of Vic Falls Carnival in partnership with Timedia and Radisson Blu Hotel Mosi-Oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort and will feature some of the headlining acts from Vic Falls Carnival.
Ticket Options
Tickets to Vic Falls Carnival are available in various categories, including general access tickets and VIP tickets.
General access tickets provide access to all the main events, while VIP tickets offer exclusive access to additional events, including private parties, a VIP viewing deck with private bar and toilet facilities, and a sunset cruise.
