Magacha and Gemma‘s ‘Nzira’ visuals on point
Sabastian Magacha might have been trending for the wrong reasons these past few days, but what cannot be ignored is the fact that he released top-notch visuals for his new song, Nzira.
While many people were focusing on the poor attendance at his recently held album launch at the HICC, some of us decided to check out his latest offering on YouTube.
The song which features Gemma Griffiths is not just brilliant in terms of the lyrical content, exceptional vocals and instrumentation with the video being just as good.
From the beach setting to the wardrobe, you can clearly see that a lot of work was put into creating this work of art.
There might not be much flash and bang but the minimalistic direction seems to have done the trick on this one. While there isn’t really much happening in the video, the little in it was done just right and the quality is just brilliant.
Local musicians have been working hard when it comes to producing good music videos and it seems like the bar has been rising with each new release.
