Dbn Gogo headlines Fiesta’s Amapiano sister act edition
Tomorrow Alex Sports Club will be the place to be as it plays host to Fiesta Fiesta’s Amapiano Explosion Volume 7 which is being headlined by South African superstar Dbn Gogo.
Dubbed the “Sister Act Edition”, the event will have numerous female DJs behind the decks, which is a nice touch considering they don’t get many opportunities to headline events.
While this was meant to be an all-female ensemble with the likes of King Her, DJ Naida, and DJ Eve taking to the stage, some familiar faces have also been added to the lineup.
To add more weight to the fete, the likes of Raydizz, Madeherbelieve and Fujee have also been added to the list.
There might be numerous other events taking place in the capital with many promoters trying to cash in on the long weekend fever but Fiesta has a slight edge thanks to their headline act.
Dbn Gogo is one of the biggest names on the Amapiano scene at the moment with the performer leaving her signature on numerous hit songs including “Khuza Gogo”, “Bambelela”, “Possible”, “Sgubu” and “Dakiwe” just to name a few.
When it comes to live performances, the DJ has been known to light up the party with laid-back signature dance moves that have gone on to become major trends.
Early bird tickets are going for US$5 but will only be sold until 2pm on the day, with general entry tickets going for $US$10. Those who want to get into the VIP section will have to part with US$30.
As has become the norm, attendees are allowed to bring their cooler boxes.
Fiesta Fiesta has grown to become one of the biggest outdoor events in the capital with the organisers making significant improvements with every edition.
