The Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Honorable Barbara Rwodzi is in Gokwe South where she is engaging with the tourism community.
The meeting seeks to strengthen relations between government and the private sector in an effort to work towards the attainment of a 5-billion-dollar tourism economy by 2025.
Gokwe South is endowed with heritage and cultural sites as well as wildlife.
Some of the prominent places include Chirisa Safari, Gandavaroyi Gorge, Dzoritsvo Falls, Hliziyana Falls, Sengwa Gorge and the magnificent Bopoma Falls to name a few.
The Deputy Minister is touring the Midlands Province.
The tour will also include of an Environment and Tourism Indaba to be held in Gweru tomorrow.
