For the past few days, Kae Chaps has been one of the most talked about musicians in Zimbabwe, thanks to the success of his song, Juzi.
It is surprising how big a deal he has become considering that his name was not well known at the beginning of this month.
While Juzi is his most popular song, those who have dug around for his other projects might have noted that he has numerous other jams that are probably even better that the one that put him on the limelight.
Despite already having some really good songs including Mavanga, Ndozviripo and Mai Boi to name a few, there are people who are already calling for him to release new music.
It seems like the artiste is already working on something as he has hinted that collaborations with Holy Ten and Nutty O are in the works.
“With Holy Ten there might be something… I am a very big fan of Nutty O and we have something lined up that we are working on,” said Kae Chaps during an interview on ZTN’s soccer show The Couch.
This will be great news to many music fans considering that the artistes he mentioned are epic in their own right.
The 24-year-old musician also said that he would want to work with Takura and Enzo Ishall.
Collaborations aside, it is clear that the lad is talented and there are bound to be more hits coming from him.
If some are wondering what it is that is separating him from the rest of the pack, he says it is a case of the way he presents himself.
“I think it’s a matter of me being different from most artistes in terms of everything, in terms of how I am presenting myself and in terms of how people are relating to my sound.”
He is already aiming high, stating that he wants “to be among the best in the world”.
