ZTN hosts UN @75 celebrations
Many people were showering Zimpapers TV Network (ZTN) with praises during and after their Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) public hearing presentation.
Having been following the work ZTN has been doing since coming on the scene, I don’t see the reason why they should not get a commercial television license.
The quality of their productions, from current affairs to entertainment is basically next to none at the moment (no offence to ZBC).
It comes as no surprise that the United Nations (UN) has chosen ZTN as a partner for their 75th anniversary celebrations taking place tomorrow.
Proceedings which will be broadcast live on ZTN platforms and UN Zimbabwe’s Facebook page kick off at 12:30PM with the official marking of the UN Day which will be followed by a roundtable forum at 3:30PM.
To cap off the celebrations, music lovers will be treated to an epic concert with the likes of Ex Q, Enzo Ishall, Diana Samkange, Jah Master, Anita Jaxon, Judgement Yard and Allanah taking to the stage.
While I already know what Ex Q, Allanah, Jah Master, Daina and Judgement Yard can do when it comes to live performances having seen them countless times, I am yet to see Anita in action so I will certainly be looking out for her set.
I have watched several music shows ZTN has hosted in the past and knowing how their productions have been improving, I am definitely looking forward to the UN @75 Musical Concert.
It’s unfortunate that live shows with actual audiences are not yet allowed but this would have been a solid Friday plan.
