In a strategic partnership with Mwana Group, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) has orchestrated the Presidents Schools Rugby Cup, a tournament featuring 12 competing teams.
The matches will be played throughout the week.
Over 400 exhibitors are participating this year, including prominent foreign entities from the Democratic Republic of Congo, European Union, China, South Africa, and Malawi.
These international exhibitors are set to contribute a diverse and dynamic element to the event’s offerings.
Dr. Andrew Matibiri, the Chief Executive of ZAS, emphasized the momentum and dedication displayed by stakeholders across multiple economic sectors, hinting at a prosperous agricultural season in the offing.
Safety and security stand as paramount concerns for the event organizers.
Dr. Matibiri outlined the comprehensive measures enacted, which encompass advanced surveillance with modern CCTV installations, drones, gate turnstiles, and streamlined ticketing systems, all aimed at enhancing the overall visitor experience.
The show’s agenda includes a diverse range of business interactions, providing a platform for industry leaders, executives, and governmental officials to converge and deliberate on crucial national value chain matters – spanning from seed to food production.
The grand unveiling and ceremonial acknowledgment of victors is scheduled for the official opening on Friday, September 1.
The action-packed schedule encompasses arena events, including musical performances and firework displays on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Parachute dives, mass exhibitions and horseback riding are just a few of the riveting displays primed to entertain the crowd.
To facilitate the event’s smooth flow, the park will enforce a prohibition on motor vehicle movement during the show.
Secure parking provisions will be available in close proximity to the vibrant Business Hub, ensuring convenience for all attendees.
