Scorpion Kings Summer Tour dates announced
DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small will be touring South Africa in December, January, and February as part of their “Scorpion Kings Live” event property.
This comes after their “Scorpion Kings Live” concert held in July at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.
After two years of postponements due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the duo managed to sell out the venue, bringing out some of the most popular Amapiano artists, including Daliwonga, Ami Faku, Bontle Smith, and Msaki.
Scorpion Kings will partner with G21 Live and Amstel to host the summer tour.
The concert’s location and special guests were announced by the artistes announced on their social media platforms.
In this upcoming “Scorpion Kings Live” concert, the duo will be joined by artists from their record labels, Piano Hub and New Money Gang Records.
This includes Young Stunna, Daliwonga, Bontle Smith, Nia Pearl, Felo Le Tee, and Mas Musiq.
All these artistes have chat topping songs and will surely put on a show when they take to the stage.
The acts scheduled to appear during the tour were featured in the promotional visuals shared on Instagram.
“Scorpion Kings Live” is set to start at the Grand Arena, GrandWest on December 11, and will conclude in Johannesburg at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec on February 25.
The epic music festival will also reach East London, Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Polokwane and Durban.
Each region will also include local artiste that will be announced closer to the date of the show.
It makes sense to add local talent to the lineup.
The dynamic duo of DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small has bene known to bring the house down every time they perform.
Kabza De Small was the most streamed South African artist showing how influential the Amapiano genre has become.
