Qounfuzed x Kikky Badass-Body back on YouTube
Qounfuzed and Kikky Badass‘s song “Body”, which had been taken down from YouTube after a copyright claim from another artist, is back on the platform.
The copyright dispute was sparked when Teepher B claimed that some lyrics on “Body” had been stolen from his own track which resulted in the video’s removal from YouTube.
However, Qounfuzed and his legal team immediately gathered evidence to dispute the claim and engaged in a back and forth with the claimant until they were finally able to reclaim their copyrights.
In a statement released on social media, Qounfuzed expressed his gratitude to his loyal fans who stood by him during this trying time.
He also took the high road and forgave Teepher B, wishing him all the best in his future music endeavors.
In a statement released on Instagram, Quonfuzed said:
“BODY IS BACK ON YOUTUBE! We sincerely apologise for the inconveniences and disruptions caused with the confusion and controversies surrounding this particular song”BODY” but we can assure you that after all the reviews and investigations, proof & evidence from both parties was submitted to the YouTube board by our legal representatives and I was found NOT GUILTY.
“Therefore YouTube has restored the Video back to our channel and we have managed to reclaim back our 100% content copyrights that we legally own with no penalties on our channel as it was a false claim.
“It has been a tough week and some days fighting back and forth with the claimant trying to find common ground but finally we are here to celebrate once again.”
Despite the setback, the song was closing in on 50k views on YouTube at the time of publishing this article.
The views are set to explode in the coming days considering that both Quonfuzed and Kikky Badass are among some of the most trending musicians in the country at the moment.
