The death of iconic Zim dancehall artiste Soul Jah Love is still ringing in many music fans’ memories, with some struggling to grasp the reality of a world without the chanter.
Sauro’s demise is without a doubt a huge loss to the music industry with the artiste leaving a void that will be difficult to fill.
When he released visuals for Simudza Gumbo a few weeks ago, no one would have thought it would be the last time seeing Chibaba in front of the camera, in the flesh that is.
Questions about his unreleased projects have already started doing the rounds with some fans optimistic that their hero left some tunes for them.
Studio Art Pictures (SAP) which has worked with Soul Jah Love on a number of music videos including his last one have said that they will be releasing a new project from the artist in the next few days.
“Soul Jah Love had given us songs which we were supposed to shoot. There are a lot of projects which we were supposed to work on,” said SAP cinematographer Director Sweezy in a eulogy.
“There is a song that he had left at Passion Java Records, so this coming week we are going to draw and animate him for the music video.”
He added that the artiste might have passed away, but he is still with us through the music that he left behind.
“The King will never die, he left us his music. More tunes are coming and more videos are coming. There are songs that he left us which we will be releasing so stay tuned.”
SAP is one of the best music video production companies in the country which has worked with many artistes including Poptain, Enzo Ishall, Boss Pumacol, Seh Calaz and Jah Signal to name just a few.
