Munch & Sip is one event that every fun lover should attend at least once.
It comes as no surprise that this fete has grown to become one of the biggest events in Zimbabwe, with its unique approach of blending various outdoor entertainment elements.
As the name suggests, the occasion is just perfect for everyone who loves to eat, drink and be merry.
Its been a few weeks since the latest edition was held but it feels like I was there yesterday.
Just like every other Munch & Sip, the organisers went all out to ensure they created a memorable atmosphere.
From the stage setup to the performances, it was clear that the production team was not playing around when it came to delivering quality entertainment,
Taking a glimpse at the lineup, one might have raised eyebrows for the lack of the usual mainstream heavyweights. However doubters were proven wrong as every act that took to the stage unleashed exceptional performances.
Some of the entertainers who performed included Mo-T, Jason Le Roux, Dolly Yamama, Skyroot, Noluntu J, Sibbs Apollo and Otis Frasier to name a few.
From the time the gates opened, right up to the moment the music was switched off, there was no shortage of quality entertainment.
With this being more of a food festival, one might ague that the music element is just complimentary as the real action will be taking place at the food stalls and bars.
These areas of the arena were packed with patrons trying out the food options that were being offered by the various stalls that were there.
Outdoor living products manufacturer Temp-Bag also added color to the event with their unique bean bags which they were hiring out on the day. They provided the patrons with numerous comfortable seating options.
Having had the privilege of attending many festivals and events in the country over the years, I can safely say Much & Sip is a breath of fresh air on the local entertainment scene.
Having already announced that they will be hosting the next edition in August, it would be advisable to slot this particular fete on your leisure calendar so as not to miss out.
