Microsoft to Launch ChatGPT 4 with AI Videos Next Week

Microsoft is set to launch ChatGPT 4, an updated version of the AI tool that promises to offer new possibilities to its users.

The new update will feature multimodal models, enabling users to create AI-generated videos from simple text prompts.

Andreas Braun, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Germany, announced the news at a recent event called “AI in Focus — Digital Kickoff”. According to Braun, ChatGPT 4 will be launched as early as next week.

Multimodal Models and AI-Generated Videos

GPT-4 is the underlying large language model technology that powers apps like ChatGPT.

Currently, ChatGPT only replies in text form. However, with the introduction of GPT-4, Microsoft hopes to take the AI tool to the next level.

Holger Kenn, Director of Business Strategy at Microsoft Germany, explained that the new version of ChatGPT would be “multimodal,” allowing users to translate text into images, music, and video.

Potential Uses of GPT-4

At the AI event, Microsoft revealed how GPT-4 could be used by call centers to automatically convert phone conversations between employees and customers into text.

This feature would save enormous amounts of time and effort previously expended on summarizing those calls after they finish.

Microsoft’s Integration of ChatGPT into Bing Web Browser

Despite the huge interest and waiting lists for ChatGPT, Microsoft did not touch on its integration of ChatGPT into the Bing web browser.

Given all the recent controversy, the company may have felt it was too much of a touchy subject.

With GPT-4 launching soon, we may not have long to wait before we see the next version of ChatGPT in action.

The new version promises to offer a wide range of possibilities, including the creation of AI-generated videos from simple text prompts.

We look forward to seeing what Microsoft has in store for its AI assistant.
