Kikky Badass added to Rick Ross gig lineup

Kikky Badass has been added to the Rick Ross Harare gig lineup.

The show is set to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) this Friday.

This will be the first time the ‘Biggest Boss’ will perform in the country. Some have even touted it as one of the biggest shows to be held this year.

Why Choose Kikky?

Kikky’s addition comes after there was an outcry on social media over an all-male supporting cast for the event. Most of the people who were complaining pointed out that Kikky should be added to the list.

The rapper is one of the biggest female hip-hop artists in the country and many would agree that she deserves to be part of the show.

Kikky will be performing on the Red Carpet Show which is being hosted by MTV Base.

The Lineup

Rick Ross is one of the world’s biggest hip-hop artists, and it would only make sense that organisers rope in the country’s top acts in the genre.

The supporting artists comprise South African superstar Nasty C and local hip-hop heavyweights Takura and Holy Ten. Nutty O was also added to the list for good measure.

Several DJs have also been called in with the likes of Rimo, King Her, Madeherbelieve and MC Tatts set to take to the stage.

Nasty C

Nasty C is not new to the Zimbabwean entertainment scene. The artist has already performed several times in the country.

He is regarded as one of the best rappers on the continent and will fit in perfectly on that stage come Friday.

Takura and Holy Ten

There are many hip-hop artists in Zimbabwe who are on top of their game right now.

While some might think otherwise, Takura and Holy Ten easily slot into that top-five list, at least currently.

Nutty O

This is clearly a hip-hop gig, but most people might agree that Nutty O can be an exception.

He has been one of the biggest artists in the country this year and appeals to music fans across all genres.
