Jah Prayzah to Headline Shutdown Concert at HICC Tomorrow
Zimbabwe’s festive season kicks off in style tomorrow with the highly anticipated Shutdown Concert at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), headlined by superstar Jah Prayzah.
Organised by Gateway Stream Media, the event promises an electrifying evening featuring some of the country’s top entertainers. Jah Prayzah will be joined by Killer T, chart-topping sensation Master H, the versatile Tocky Vibes, the soulful Feli Nandi, and dancehall powerhouse Freeman.
A Star-Studded Line-Up
The concert boasts an enviable line-up, expected to deliver a night of fireworks as these performers showcase what they can do on stage.
All eyes will be on Jah Prayzah, fresh off the release of Nhoroondo, THE BOOK, a visual novel that has captivated audiences.
Feli Nandi, known for energetic performances, is expected to enthrall fans with her signature style, while Tocky Vibes, praised for his maturity and lyrical depth, will do what he does best.
Freeman, who has transitioned from performing with backtracks to leading a live band, aims to prove why he remains a force in local music.
Master H who is certainly the man of the moment needs no introduction when to comes to putting on a show on the big stage.
On the other hand, Killer T has been one of the most consistent musicians in the country, with a catalogue that comes next to none on the Zim dancehall scene.
Setting the Festive Mood
Elton Kurima, show coordinator and Gateway Stream Media manager, said the concert serves as a precursor to the festive season.
“We opted to put the event at the end of November as a build-up to the festive season mood,” Kurima explained. “Fans should look forward to an evening full of unforgettable performances, an experience like no other.”
He added that the recently refurbished HICC, now boasting international-standard facilities, offers the perfect venue for such a grand occasion.
“We are on track with our planning process. All the service providers are in place, and everyone is ready to make this night a success,” said Kurima.
Promises of Stellar Performances
The artists are equally enthusiastic about the event. Master H’s management, led by Benediction “Mpondasugar” Illusion, assured fans of a top-tier musical experience, highlighting the rigorous rehearsals underway.
Feli Nandi’s team also shared their excitement, with publicist Connie Mazani promising a memorable night for attendees.
“The fans should expect the best of Feli Nandi. We have been on a great musical journey, filled with great memories, and we cannot wait to meet our fans at this event,” said Mazani.
