Jacaranda Music Festival adds Daliwonga, Murumba Pitch and more to lineup
The 2023 Stanbic Bank Jacaranda Music Festival has beefed up its lineup after announcing more artists who are set to perform at the event.
The Fete will take place from the 6th to the 8th of October in Harare.
Organisers highlighted their intention of bringing in the best entertainers in the business with the first artist announcement a few weeks back.
On Monday, they released the second phase of the lineup and what we can say is that it is pretty impressive.
Jacaranda Music Festival Phase 2 Artist Lineup
The second batch of artists announced include Daliwonga, Murumba Pitch, Gwevedzi, Those Guys Vacho, Gary Tight, ExQ, Ndlovu Youth Choir and Jason Le Roux.
These are exceptional performers who have been doing well in their various genres.
With the the third and final announcement set for Monday next week, many music fans will be curious to find out who else will be added to the list.
Amapiano Powerhouses
Amapiano fans might have to start cleaning their dancing shoes with some of the biggest names in the genre gracing the Jacaranda Music Festival stage.
Daliwonga and Murumba Pitch are currently at the top of their game with catalogues that are laden with major hits.
These acts are both tried and tested performers and those who have seen them live on stage can confirm that they always deliver.
With a bag of singalong bangers between them, they will definitely be among the artists to look out for at the festival.
Homegrown Talent
The contingent of local artists who were announced on Monday are also brilliant to say the least.
They are also not new to the festival scene, having had their fair share on the big stage.
ExQ is a veteran who has been a dominant feature on the music scene for a while and having recently released a new album, his fans will definitely love to see him perform the latest music live on stage.
Those who love traditional vibes, Gwevedzi will give you a full dose of that, with their sound which blends mbira, percussion, guitars and drums.
