Fantan and Levels alongside promoter Dammar saw their bid for freedom thrown out the window after High Court Judge justice Davison Foroma reserved judgment in their bail application.
The three who are behind bars for violating Covid-19 regulations applied for bail pending appeal against their sentence, but that did not work out as planned.
Fake news peddlers had already given some music fans hope that their producers were coming home with a ‘breaking news’ snippet stating that the three had been granted bail doing the rounds early in the morning.
The trio is currently serving a six-month prison sentence with Harare provincial Magistrate Vongai Guwuriro initially slapping them with a one-year term, setting aside six months on condition that they will not commit a similar offence within that period.
