Everton Mlalazi releases Apo Mambo visuals
Gospel musician Everton Mlalazi has released visuals for the song “Apo Mambo” which was recorded during his live performance at 7 Arts Theatre.
This is a captivating performance that was well put together and it ticks all the boxes.
From the main man to the backing vocalists and instrumentation, the song just sets the right tone for a worship session.
While “Apo Mambo” is a popular hymn, Mlalazi’s delivery while performing it is just top notch. He manages to put across the message that the song is meant to convey in a manner that is mesmeric to say the least.
The team that was responsible for shooting and editing the video should also be given their flowers as they did a brilliant job in capturing every detail in that auditorium.
The video has been met with positive reviews if comments on YouTube are anything to go by, with many people highlighting how deep and powerful the song is.
In an interview Mlalazi said the song is a reminder of how everyone will have to stand by their deeds when Christ returns.
“The song pauses a question every believer must answer in their daily journey,” he said.
“How will you fare when the king comes in? In other words how will you fare when Christ returns?
“The song reminds us that every deed shall be brought to book or shall be judged and therefore we must stand ready when the King comes to take his own into everlasting glory.”
The music video was directed and produced by RHI Media which has worked on the musician’s previous projects.
Everton Mlalazi’s “Apo Mambo” is available on all digital platforms including Deezer, iTunes and Spotify among others.
