Dynamos Sign Burkina Faso Winger

Dynamos have strengthened their squad with the signing of Burkina Faso international Ben Daouda Sidibe from Ghana Premier League side Aduana Football Club.

The 26-year-old winger joins the Harare giants on a permanent transfer during the current transfer window, becoming the latest addition to DeMbare’s squad as they continue their push in the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

Aduana FC confirmed the transfer in a statement, thanking the player for his contribution during his time at the Ghanaian club.

“Aduana Football Club can confirm the permanent transfer of Ben Daouda Sidibe to Zimbabwean giants Dynamos FC. Everyone at Aduana FC wishes you all the best as you begin a new chapter with Dynamos FC,” the club said.

The move sees Sidibe swap the Ghana Premier League for Zimbabwe’s top flight, where he will be expected to strengthen Dynamos’ attacking options.

Sidibe arrives in Zimbabwe after establishing himself as an experienced campaigner in the Ghana Premier League.

He joined Aduana FC ahead of the 2025/26 season and quickly became a regular in the side, helping the Dormaa-based club secure a sixth-place finish.

Known for his pace, direct running and ability to take on defenders, the Burkinabe winger became an important outlet in attack, consistently stretching opposition defences and creating opportunities in the final third.

His performances at Aduana further enhanced a reputation he had built over several seasons in Ghana’s top flight.

Journey Through Ghanaian Football

Before joining Aduana FC, Sidibe represented Medeama SC and Basake Holy Stars, featuring prominently for both clubs.

Across his spells with the three Ghana Premier League teams, he amassed 68 league appearances, becoming one of the competition’s most experienced foreign players.

His consistency and attacking qualities made him a valuable asset, while his ability to operate on either wing added tactical flexibility for his coaches.

Before moving to Ghana, Sidibe began his professional career in his native Burkina Faso with FC Kadiogo, where he developed before making the move to West African football’s increasingly competitive Ghanaian league.

A Boost for Dynamos

Sidibe's arrival provides Dynamos with another attacking option as the club looks to build on its performances during the current Premier Soccer League campaign.

His experience in one of Africa’s most competitive domestic leagues is expected to strengthen DeMbare’s squad, with the winger offering pace, creativity and an eye for creating scoring opportunities.

Having spent several seasons adapting to different tactical systems and competing against high-level opposition, Sidibe arrives in Harare with valuable experience that could prove crucial during the remainder of the season.

His versatility on the flanks also gives Dynamos’ technical team additional options in attack.

New Challenge in Zimbabwe

For Sidibe, the move represents the first chapter of his career in Southern Africa after several successful years in West African football.

The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League has increasingly attracted players from across the continent, with clubs looking beyond their borders to strengthen their squads with proven talent.

Dynamos will be hoping Sidibe settles quickly and adapts to the demands of Zimbabwean football as they continue their campaign.

The winger’s speed, work rate and attacking instincts could make him an important addition as DeMbare seek to maintain momentum during the second half of the season.

Supporters will now be eager to see when the Burkina Faso international makes his debut in the famous blue jersey and whether he can translate the form that made him a standout performer in Ghana into success at one of Zimbabwe’s biggest football clubs.
