Kanye West is apparently ready to get himself and his extensive shoe collection out of Calabasas.
The rapper, who has been spending most of his time on a ranch in Wyoming far away from his wife Kim Kardashian, swung by the California home they share to move out a few of his belongings, including 500 pairs of sneakers, according to a source who spoke to Page Six.
Kim has been on a girls’ trip with her sisters and children in Turks and Caicos all week, giving West the perfect opportunity to visit the property without incident.
The source confirmed, “They both felt it would be less dramatic without both of them in the house.” But the musician hasn’t fully vacated the property just yet, only grabbing some of his most prized Yeezys.
While there has been much speculation about the high-profile couple’s “imminent” divorce, nothing has been officially confirmed.
However, at the end of January, a source told Us Weekly that the split will play out on the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a development West is reportedly “less than thrilled” about.
It is also alleged there is “no bad blood” between him and Kim, they’re “very cordial” and “He’s focusing on his world and she is focusing on her world,” another insider told E! News.
But while the exes are amenable, there doesn’t seem to be much hope of reconciliation. “Kim is done dealing with Kanye’s unpredictable behavior, she has tried to get him into treatment for his mental health and all attempts have been unsuccessful,” the Us Weekly source explained. “No one can tell Kanye what to do other than Kanye.” – Vanity Fair
