The Golden Globes 2021 Winners
The Golden Globes 2021, hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, were broadcast simultaneously from both New York and Los Angeles, with winners delivering their speeches virtually.
Despite being nominated six times, Mank wound up walking away empty-handed, bested in the drama categories by Chloé Zhao’s Nomandland, which won best drama as well as best director.
Borat Subsequent Movie film, meanwhile, made off with two other major awards, winning both best actor in a comedy (franchise mastermind Sacha Baron Cohen) and best comedy.
Over on the TV side of the ceremony, Netflix’s The Crown and Pop TV’s Schitt’s Creek predictably led the pack, earning matching best TV series awards in the drama and comedy categories.
