2023 NAMA Winners Full List | Freeman, Leo Maggoz win big
Dancehall artiste Freeman and Leo Maggoz were the dominant factors at the recently held National Arts Merit Awards which were held last Friday.
Freeman won the Outstanding Male Musician and Outstanding Album awards with Leo Maggoz, Bling 4 and Brian Jeck walking away with the Outstanding Newcomer and Outstanding Song awards.
Freeman took to social media to thank his fans for their support.
“This is for you maGallis, Outstanding Male Artist & Outstanding Album. I really don’t know how to express myself towards this, it feels great to be appreciated for your craft on your own,” wrote Freeman on his Facebook handle.
Other artists that also scooped awards included Sean Mambwere, King Kandoro, Dorcas Moyo and Mai Kirifodhi to name a few.
